About The Position
Has a working knowledge of the admissions, pre-certification, certification, verification and the billing process required by payer source. This working knowledge includes practicing effective “customer relations” and performs all functions using organizational and priority setting skills.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of current medical terminology
- Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge
- Knowledge of effective problem solving techniques
- Knowledge of the pre-certification, certification and verification processes
