Experienced Insurance Loss Control Inspector
About The Position
Cal Inspection Bureau, Inc. is seeking experienced commercial insurance loss control/underwriting survey inspectors to cover the New Orleans area. Inspectors conduct property and casualty insurance inspections of businesses and properties such as restaurants, bars, taverns, apartments, and repair garages. This is an independent contractor position, and no training is provided. Applicants must already be current insurance loss control inspectors with specific experience performing this work. The company prefers inspectors to live in its areas of operation to reduce drive time and increase time dedicated to service. The work is on the road.
Requirements
- Must have current experience as an insurance loss control inspector; applicants without actual experience performing this work will not be considered.
- At least 1 year of insurance loss control or inspection experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect restaurants, bars, taverns, apartments, repair garages, and similar properties for property and casualty insurance purposes.
- Perform commercial insurance loss control and underwriting survey inspections in the New Orleans area.
