Ensures that all hospital-based providers are credentialed and recertified with applicable payers, working in conjunction with the 4 Southern Region hospitals, legal and regulatory affairs, and Professional Billing. Recognizes and supports The Thompson Way. Lives the CARES values at all times.

Requirements

Associate degree or 3 years related work experience in health care billing required.
2 years of previous medical billing experience, professional billing preferred.
Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
Proficient computer skills including Excel, Power Point, Word, and all web-based payer requirements.
Working knowledge of third-party payers.
Detail oriented and willing to learn.
Confidentiality of all information is imperative.

Responsibilities
