Requirements

2+ years of experience in an office environment;
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines;
Strong customer service skills, comfortable and effective with telephone and email outreach with subcontractors;
Team player with effective interpersonal skills;
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and professional judgment;

Nice To Haves

College degree in accounting, an asset
Exposure to financial statements is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Administer our risk insurance program called Subcontract Default Insurance (SDI);
Review, evaluate, prepare reports on financial assessment, and approve qualification submissions from subcontractors;
Analyze insurance requirements and develope cost-optimization strategies while ensuring appropriate coverage in the bidding process;
Assist in developing project-specific risk mitigation plans as applicable;
Assist in subcontractor outreach and meet with them as needed;
Prepare reports on prequalification status, subcontractor utilization, and others as required;
Administer insurance claims and coordinate with the project teams in compiling and submitting insurance claims.
