About The Position
Lee Dental Care is seeking an experienced Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join their patient-focused team. This role involves supporting patients in understanding their care, insurance benefits, and financial options, while ensuring billing and insurance processes are accurate and efficient. Requirements
- At least 1 year of dental experience is required
- Strong dental insurance experience, including verification and claims
- Experience with dental billing and financial arrangements
- Comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing finances with patients
- Experience with CareCredit and/or dental savings plans
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Someone who is ready to smile, have fun, and make a difference!
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person
Responsibilities
- Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients with insurance questions
- Process and reprocess dental insurance claims
- Help patients understand their billing, treatment costs, and financial options
- Present treatment plans and clearly explain financial arrangements
- Set up and coordinate patient payment schedules
- Work with in-house Dental Savings Plans, CareCredit, and similar financing programs
- Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional patient experience
- Help keep billing and insurance processes accurate, organized, and running smoothly
