About The Position

Lee Dental Care is seeking an experienced Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join their patient-focused team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, great with people, and confident navigating dental insurance and billing. This role involves verifying dental insurance benefits, assisting patients with insurance questions, processing claims, explaining billing and treatment costs, presenting treatment plans, setting up payment schedules, and collaborating with the team to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Requirements

At least 1 year of dental experience is required
Strong dental insurance experience, including verification and claims
Experience with dental billing and financial arrangements
Comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing finances with patients
Experience with CareCredit and/or dental savings plans
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive, team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person

Responsibilities

Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients with insurance questions
Process and reprocess dental insurance claims
Help patients understand their billing, treatment costs, and financial options
Present treatment plans and clearly explain financial arrangements
Set up and coordinate patient payment schedules
Work with in-house Dental Savings Plans, CareCredit, and similar financing programs
Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional patient experience
Help keep billing and insurance processes accurate, organized, and running smoothly
