Requirements
- Active California Department of Insurance Producer License (or ability to obtain one)
- Prior experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
- Ability to explain complex coverage options in a clear and approachable manner
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with agency management Applied EPIC
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and maintain a book of business through networking, referrals, and outreach
- Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Prepare and present insurance quotes for personal, commercial, or life insurance products
- Process policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and resolving policy issues
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and agency production goals
