About The Position

This role is for a Life Insurance Sales Agent. For new unlicensed agents, the journey begins with a paid training period where tools and guidance are provided to study for and pass the licensing exams. Once licensed, agents are assigned an existing book of business, a portfolio of current customers from whom they’ll collect monthly premiums. Agents earn a percentage of collected premiums and a commission on all new sales. The compensation model is pay-for-performance, offering the opportunity to determine one's own paycheck and increase monthly income with every new sale. Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage
  • Dependable vehicle for daily travel
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales
  • Prospecting for new sales opportunities
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine
  • Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans
  • Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork
  • Grow the assigned territory through new sales
  • Build strong working relationships with customers
  • Devote the time necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role
  • Pursue continuous professional development in insurance products and sales effectiveness
