About The Position

Renegade Insurance is seeking a Managing General Agent (MGA) to take a leadership role in building, managing, and growing their insurance operations. The MGA will act as a direct extension of ownership, leading a team, driving production, and helping scale the agency. Requirements

• Active insurance license(s)
• Minimum 3+ years of insurance sales experience
• Strong understanding of underwriting and agency operations
• Proven sales performance and ability to hit/exceed targets
• Agency management systems (Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, or similar)
• CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
• Carrier portals and quoting tools
• Honest, reliable, and respected
• Strong communicator who builds real relationships
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
• Adaptable and solution-oriented
• Kind—but not a pushover
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow something meaningful

Nice To Haves

• 3–5+ years in P&C, Life/Health, or multi-line insurance
• Prior leadership, mentorship, or team lead experience
• Experience growing a book of business
• Strong background in cross-selling and upselling

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 5–10 on-site agents
• Oversee sales performance, underwriting, and daily operations
• Recruit, onboard, and train new agents
• Build and manage a profitable book of business
• Coach team members on sales strategies, compliance, and growth
• Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and accountability tracking
• Drive a culture of professionalism, respect, and results

Benefits

• Base Salary: $50,000-$60,000 + highly competitive commission structure
• Total OTE $100,000-$120,000 per year
