About The Position

State Farm Insurance Agent located in Southfield, MI is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their team. As a State Farm team member for Bobby Branch - State Farm Agent, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance. Our mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance. Our office is located in Westland. Our office is open 9am-5pm. We currently have 3 team members at our agency. We have 15 years of combined insurance experience in our office. Our agency has received awards including: Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, and Senior Vice President's Club. We are a very busy office and are looking for our next great team member. We are an established, growth-oriented agency with a team of highly motivated individuals. Our team works hard to reach our goals together as a team and have fun while we are doing it! Requirements

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Property and Casualty license (must have currently)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license (must have currently)
  • Personal Lines Licenses (must be able to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
