Weaver Insulators is hiring an entry-level Insulation Technician in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. The technician will receive on-the-job training in blown cellulose insulation and fiberglass batts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be able to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in attics and tight spaces.
- Be motivated to learn new skills and take on more responsibility.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with insulation, construction, framing, drywall, or HVAC is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort troubleshooting and maintaining equipment are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a 2–4 person crew installing fiberglass batts and blown-in cellulose insulation.
- Seal thermal envelopes by applying foam and caulk around windows, doors, and penetrations.
- Travel to new job sites almost daily and work in both new construction and retrofit settings.
- Learn on the job, receive training, and develop in-demand trade skills.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment as needed.
