Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Insulation and/or Scaffolding Journeyman
Strong knowledge of industrial insulation materials and scaffolding systems
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and site safety requirements
Ability to pass site-specific safety training and certifications
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working at heights
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be willing and able to pass an initial and periodic drug screens and a background check upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Journeyman certification (Insulation and/or Scaffolding)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Scaffold User / Builder certification
TWIC card (if applicable)
Confined Space and Fall Protection training

Responsibilities

Installing removing and maintaining various types of industrial insulation (hot, cold, acoustic, and fireproofing).
Erecting, modifying , inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding systems in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work specifications.
Ensuring proper material handling, measurements, and installation techniques.
Inspecting scaffolding and insulation work for compliance and safety.
Identifying job hazards and actively participate in safety meetings and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
Working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Coordinating with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as needed.
Mentoring apprentices or less experienced crew members when required.
