About The Position

Working in the petrochemical industry installing/removing various types of insulation and jacketing on piping and equipment. This position requires the applicant to work from elevated heights, including mobile lifting equipment (MANLIFTS). Employment will be contingent upon passing Physical, Background and Drug tests along with an insulation journeyman written and practical test. This position will require a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Card).

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years experience; preferably in manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently.
• Ability to write legible, routine correspondence and to speak effectively as well as coherently with management and other Chemelex employees.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity issues.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lb boxes.
• Must have a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Card).
• Must provide own tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

• NCCER Certifications preferred but not required.
