About The Position

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation Tubing Technicians to support a 3-to-4-month project. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, measuring, cutting, bending, and installing high-quality Swagelok stainless steel tubing and cable tray support systems. The ideal candidate has strong hydraulic schematic literacy, hands-on experience with Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs), and a proven track record of error-free craftsmanship.

Requirements

  • Proven experience fitting, cutting, and bending Swagelok stainless steel tubing ranging from 1/4-inch to 1-inch without errors.
  • Direct experience working with Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) and the ability to accurately read and interpret hydraulic schematics.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 65 feet.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift.
  • Capable of working comfortably in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing/shop environment.
  • Must be flexible to work either day or night shift.
  • Must be able to perform an on-site bend test during the interview process.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Previous experience with surface/land equipment and HPUs from major oilfield services providers (e.g., Cameron, Schlumberger, NOV).

Responsibilities

  • Plan equipment layout and installation according to engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and manuals.
  • Measure, thread, cut, and assemble cable trays and cable tray support systems; install tubing and clamps securely into tray systems.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install high-pressure tubing and piping.
  • Plan and coordinate daily tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures.
  • Safely utilize a variety of hand, hydraulic, and power tools.
  • Drill and tap holes in structures to attach brackets and guards per assembly drawings.
  • Operate facility equipment as needed (e.g., manlifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, band saws, hose cutting/crimping devices, pressure pumps).
  • Inspect, maintain, and care for assigned tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment in alignment with 6S guidelines.
