About The Position

If you are an instrumentation professional who has 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, we want to speak with you! Your Role As an Instrumentation Technician, you will set up and maintain automated UT (ultrasonic tests) and dimensional testing equipment. You also will perform machine installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance using oscilloscope, analog and digital multi-meters equipment. Additionally, you will: Perform extensive unit assembly, including mechanics, hand/or electronic and electrical work Work hands-on with troubleshooting equipment Participate, support, and maintain compliance to the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, 5S program, policies, procedures, safety programs, and activities as defined within the company’s published management system documentation

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or two-year instrumentation training or apprentice program equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as an Instrumentation Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with electronic bench test equipment (oscilloscope, analog and digital multi-meter, function generator etc.).
  • Familiar with DOS and Windows Operating Systems and basic computer hardware.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A strong background in electronics technology.
  • Basic Trouble shooting & Mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work mandatory occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • NDT Level 2 I&C certification.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in mechanical or technical environment and/or apprenticeship.
