Instrumentation Technician - JLL What this job involves: The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for performing / providing calibration, installation, troubleshooting and documentation of instruments/equipment used in manufacturing & utility plants and GMP production facilities as required. All work to be completed to assure minimal impact to production while complying with Regulatory and Company regulations. What your day-to-day will look like: Perform calibrations on process equipment, utility equipment and laboratory analytical equipment. Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to maintain adequate inventory levels for equipment/systems as needed. Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, and work order documentation is completed and documented real-time. All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, GMPs, SOPs, and JLL policies. Complete all related training by the required due date. Participate in continuous improvement projects. Maintain an on-going two-way performance dialogue with area supervisor. Notify supervisor of any training needs and advise them of any factors impacting your ability to perform required tasks. Assist with troubleshooting efforts. Perform tasks in accordance with planning and scheduling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Instrumentation/Calibration related work experience.
  • Effectively communicate thoughts and ideas through verbal and written form, including GMP documentation.
  • Ability to work with computer-based controls.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical material including operating manuals and standard engineering drawings.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years’ experience working as an Instrumentation Technicians or, completion of Trade/Technical School program in Instrumentation field.
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment with established GMP procedures in the calibration and maintenance of utility, process and lab equipment.
  • Experience working with CMMS Maximo.
