About The Position

The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Instrumentation Technician, Nunavut. Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Supervisor, Instrumentation, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Requirements

Five (5) years of instrumentation experience, with preference given to those with experience working in a remote site with limited access to resources, experience in mineral processing environments is considered an asset.
Interprovincial Red Seal Instrumentation and Control Technician qualification or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and IOM/OEM Manuals.
Working rights in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a remote site with limited access to resources.
Experience in mineral processing environments.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute electrical and instrumentation installations, ensuring proper system integration with PLC/DCS.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation equipment including but not limited to transducers, gas detectors, flow controllers, and chemical analyzers.
Conduct tuning, adjustments, diagnostic testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
Safely perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency call-outs to support production schedules.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, logbooks, and deviations from procedures.
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and operators to optimize equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
Adhere to B2Gold Nunavut’s safety policies and procedures.
