Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join their team. The qualified candidate will have primary responsibility for working in a lean manufacturing cell supporting, verifying and troubleshooting instrumentation used in Testing and Manufacturing Environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology
  • two to five years of experience
  • diagnosis and resolve instrumentation and signal issues (wiring, noise, grounding, scaling, etc)
  • Experience working with diverse instrumentation used to measure physical and electrical parameters across multiple applications (force, flow, pressure, temperature, voltage, current, Vibration, etc.)
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
  • Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • advanced coursework in metrology or experience in calibration
  • experience developing, following or improving processes relevant to calibration
  • experience working with Test & Manufacturing Engineers to select appropriate instrumentation to meet requirements (accuracy, range, interfacing compatibility, etc.)
  • experience with data acquisition (DAQ) interfaces/software and programming, automated tools (VBA, Python, LabView, or similar)

Responsibilities

  • working in a lean manufacturing cell supporting, verifying and troubleshooting instrumentation used in Testing and Manufacturing Environments
  • Evaluating measurement requirements and support selection of appropriate instrumentation based on accuracy, range and application needs.
  • Developing, improving, and reviewing calibration processes and procedures.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to manufacturing and test engineering teams on instrumentation and measurement related topics.
  • Following direction and priorities established by supervisor.
