•$127,800 - $156,200•Onsite

About The Position

The Instrumentation Engineer II at Phillips 66’s Sweeny Refinery designs, specifies, installs, and improves instrumentation systems that provide reliable measurements across refinery operations. The role works with operations, maintenance, project, and engineering partners to resolve instrument and analyzer issues, support field installations and commissioning, and deliver projects that improve safety, reliability, and process performance. The engineer works independently and provides technical guidance as needed. The position supports instrumentation for pressure, flow, temperature, level, analytical, and other process measurements. It develops and maintains technical documentation and delivers small- to medium-scale projects, coordinating scope, schedules, resources, procurement, construction support, testing, and validation. The role also works with operations and maintenance on reliability, obsolescence, spare-parts needs, recurring failures, performance trends, and process optimization. The Sweeny Refinery is in Old Ocean, Texas.
