Responsible for running all pneumatic tubing and electrical and electronic installation for production equipment. This role involves completing the layout of tubing on skids, running tubing to end devices, and bending tubing of various sizes. The technician will be responsible for reading General Adjustment and P&ID drawings, accurately troubleshooting, and testing control panels. They will also be involved in certifying units, performing final inspections and test documents, and making necessary changes to panel selection and wiring. Maintaining installation design and technique records through pictures and diagrams, working with suppliers on electrical component hook-ups, and troubleshooting motor controls are key aspects of this position. The role requires knowledge of MCC and switchgear work, fabrication and installation of various conduit types, and wiring/cabling by hand, machine, and in cable trays. Building PLC panels and using benders are also required. The technician will report problems during the test cycle and make final electrical connections after conduit installation. An understanding of system flow and participation in the Quality Improvement Process are expected. Assistance with mechanical assembly may also be required.
