Ingevity is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join their Manufacturing Operations team. This role involves installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electrical and instrumentation devices, equipment, and systems throughout the facility, including low voltage to 13.8KV systems. The technician will be responsible for understanding and utilizing electrical and instrumentation manuals, prints, and drawings, and applying principles of mathematics, physics, AC/DC theory, electronics, pneumatics, and reliability methods. The position requires diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various electrical and instrumentation components and systems, cooperating with other crafts for increased efficiency, and independently accessing parts from the storeroom. Additional duties include operating lifts, checking email, training other technicians, performing maintenance on machines, completing paperwork, and following safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE. The role emphasizes the "IngeviWay" of working.
