About The Position

Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs on equipment at a world-scale Power Generation facility with a heavy emphasis on Safety and Maintenance Reliability.

Requirements

  • Direct industrial maintenance experience or high exposure to industrial maintenance preferred
  • Computer skills - a must
  • DOL Apprenticeship completion or at least 5 years’ experience with enrollment in Apprenticeship I&E.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydraulic control system a plus (Pressure switches, solenoids, etc.)
  • Experience and Industrial Controls experience a plus: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) BMS (Burner Management System) CEMs (Continuous Emission System) AMS (Asset Management Solutions)
  • Knowledge of Gas/Coal Boilers and Steam Turbines – a strong plus
  • Experience with CMMS – a strong plus

  • Calibration equipment (PH Probes, Transmitters, Level Gauges, etc.)
  • DVC Setup and calibrations on control valves and louvers
  • Familiarity with 3 phase electrical systems
  • Knowledge of Gas/Coal Boilers and Steam Turbines – a strong plus
  • Experience with CMMS – a strong plus
  • Flexibility in accepting change
  • Communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills
  • Work off shift when needed
  • Perform call in duties
  • Knowledge of NEC code requirements
  • Must be able to wear a respirator (Full face)
  • Willingness to participate in training to continue developing skills.
