About The Position

Instrument Controls Coordinator should have a strong understanding of Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) requirements and provide subject matter expertise to maintenance teams. Acts as SME for processes, procedures, technical matters, and equipment related to instrumentation and control systems. Equipment scope may include instrumentation, control systems, analyzers, and I&C systems. Demonstrates strong maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities and provides guidance on complex issues. May participate in constructability reviews, maintenance design reviews, and support engineering for routine maintenance, turnarounds, and new projects. Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across operations and maintenance teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Typical roles may include: I&C Coordinator, Analyzer Technician, DCS Technician, PLC Technician, Maintenance Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Implement maintenance design philosophies and project specifications for I&C systems
  • Provide technical support for risk assessments, incident investigations, and pre-FEED studies
  • Support cost management and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Assist operations with complex troubleshooting and peak load support
  • Provide input into training development and delivery
  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Participate in company technical networks
  • Develop and share technical expertise across teams
