Instrumentation Calibration Specialist
About The Position
The Instrumentation Calibration Specialist performs hands-on equipment and instrument calibrations, troubleshoots calibration and equipment issues, and completes and documents calibration records. The role coordinates outside and vendor calibrations, reviews calibration documentation and certificates, and supports engineering change management and scheduling. The specialist works in ProCal, SAP, and other ERP management systems, supports calibration-related deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and other quality events, and provides support during shutdown calibration work. The position also provides general technical and equipment support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific concentration.
- At least 2 years of experience with instrumentation calibrations and troubleshooting.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on equipment and instrument calibrations.
- Troubleshoot calibration and equipment issues.
- Complete and document calibration records.
- Coordinate outside and vendor calibrations.
- Review calibration documentation and certificates.
- Support change management for the engineering group.
- Support scheduling of engineering activities.
- Work in ProCal, SAP, and other ERP management systems.
- Support deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and other calibration-related quality events.
- Support shutdown calibration work.
- Provide general technical and equipment support.
