About The Position
The Instrument Technician coordinates and collaborates the overall cleaning, decontamination, assembly and dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies needed for daily surgical procedures and related departments.
Requirements
- One year of sterile processing experience required or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) in an acute care setting or equivalent experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Two years of college or technical school preferred.
- College or technical school degree preferred.
- Completion of a Surgical Technician Certification program is required for Certified Surgical Technologists (CST).
