Instrument Technician - Lolita Packaging
About The Position
The purpose of the Instrument Technician is to ensure the efficient operation of process instrumentation / ASRS Automation Equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing conventional instrumentation, Analyzers, and ASRS Automation Equipment, performing daily paperwork and route checks, and calibrating instrumentation. The technician must adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to ISO, environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Compliance with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements and participation in Operation Clean Sweep are also essential. The role may require working outside normal shift hours, including on-call duty, and maintaining regular attendance.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with or Two (2) years’ experience (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred)
- Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred)
- 2 years of experience (PLC, Analyzer & DCS experience preferred) and a high school diploma or equivalent; Or Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electronics or related fields.

- Complete Daily Route Check of assigned areas

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair all conventional instrumentation including DCS, Analyzers and ASRS Automation Equipment.
- Perform daily paperwork as required.
- Complete daily route check of assigned area.
- Calibration of all conventional instrumentation, Analyzers & DCS.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, regulatory and company requirements.
- Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits.
- Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.
- Work outside normal shift hours as needed, including on call duty as assigned.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
