About The Position

The Instrument Technician is responsible for the sterile supplies and maintenance of the ambulatory surgical center. Preparation, storage, processing, and sterilization of instrument trays and supplies. Ensures and maintains adequate supply levels. Checks for broken, defective, out-dated, or missing items and reports them to the manager. Adheres to procedures in accordance with department and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher education.
• Experience in a medical or hospital environment, preferably working with medical surgical supplies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Sterile processing certification a plus.

Responsibilities
