About The Position

Maintains and repairs instruments in the SMH Power Plant and performs other maintenance duties as required. Relieves the Assistant Operator on shift as needed.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Two years of vocational school training in high-pressure boilers, turbine generators, and building utilities, or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in plant operation and maintenance of steam and combustion turbines, diesel engines, boilers, generators, electrical equipment, and auxiliary equipment.
• First Class Grade A Stationary Engineer License.
• Registered as an unlicensed Electrical worker.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair instruments in the SMH Power Plant.
• Perform other maintenance duties as required.
• Relieve the Assistant Operator on shift as needed.
