This role requires knowledge of instrumentation, blood and body fluid precautions, disinfection techniques, and methods of sterilization. The technician will also manage inventory, order and stock supplies, and provide indirect patient care related to instrumentation for all age groups. A key responsibility includes coordinating and assembling surgery case carts, which involves instrument and inventory management, restocking, identifying supply/instrumentation needs, gathering supplies for specific cases, and assisting with Operating Room (OR) sterilization processes. The position offers a career ladder for Instrument Technicians ranging from level 1 to 5, based on experience.
