About The Position
NV5 is a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, program management and environmental markets. NV5 offers a full range of professional services in offices throughout the U.S. We are looking for an Instrument Person to support the Survey group.
Requirements
- HS degree/diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of surveying equipment
- Experience with Topcon Total Stations, TDS software a plus
- Read a survey grade level
- Take level notes and drawing sketches
- Perform basic calculations
- Upload/download data to/from a data collector on a regular basis
- Maintain field equipment
- Stock survey fleet truck with supplies and maintain inventory
- Basic survey fleet truck maintenance (wash, check oil, etc.)
