EMH&T is currently looking for an Instrument Operator to join our Survey team based in our Columbus, OH office. This full-time role works under the direction of the Crew Chief, supporting the land survey process by physically assisting with the acquisition of survey data points or construction layout. Duties involve obtaining land survey data, such as angles, elevations, points, and contours using Trimble Robotic & GPS equipment. May compile notes and records of survey data obtained and work performed. Occasional overnight travel may be required with a per diem allowance. May be asked to assist with other physical efforts required to complete a land survey at the development site. EMH&T has the largest single location survey team in Central Ohio. Using Trimble Windows Mobile data collectors, robotic instruments, 3D scanning, geodetic GPS receivers (including real-time network, Kinematic, static surveying), our crews are equipped with the knowledge and the tools for every kind of horizontal and vertical land survey need. All EMH&T field personnel are subject to our safety-sensitive testing program. This means that your name will be placed in a pool for random screenings after your program training is completed.
