This position will be in-office.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- NCCER certification in Industrial Instrumentation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and 2 years in industrial electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic, electronic, and instrumentation equipment in a petrochemical environment
- Ability to follow direction, prioritize work, collaborate with operations, and cross-train in electrical duties
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Science degree in Industrial Instrumentation
- 10+ years of experience in an industrial plant and 5+ years in industrial electrical systems
- Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office, Workday, SharePoint, Adobe, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across plant teams
- Experience with DCS/PLC troubleshooting, calibration, and installation of control systems and measurement devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience operating mobile equipment and using advanced test equipment
Responsibilities
- Execute and document inspections of critical, environmental, quality, and maintenance instrumentation
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair field devices such as transmitters, control valves, flow meters, and temperature elements
- Maintain and repair electrical systems including motor starters, breakers, lighting, and combustible gas detectors
- Inspect, adjust, and repair weight scales used for process verification
- Diagnose and resolve complex process issues related to control and measurement systems
- Support operations with troubleshooting and continuous improvement of process reliability
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pneumatic, electronic, and analytical instrumentation systems
