Under the supervision and direction of the Instrument Maintenance Supervisor, the Instrument Maintenance Technician shall provide the necessary skills to successfully conduct repairs, preventative, predictive, and condition based maintenance, Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS), System Accuracy Tests (SAT), furnace control instrument calibrations, and other gauge and meter calibrations. This role involves calibrating combustion systems to maintain the operation of furnaces and quality control equipment in a Quality environment, in accordance with quality compliance and customer procedures. The technician will also assist in the continuous improvement of procedures, methods, and training, and provide hands-on technical assistance in the development and implementation of improved controls and other engineering projects as directed.
