The Instrument Intern will participate in the Borger Refinery Craft Student Internship Program which provides opportunities for career success through hands-on learning experiences. Students apply subject matter knowledge learned in a certificate or associate program to the workplace and develop technical and interpersonal skills in the workplace. It is important for student interns to participate as contributing and active members of their craft team. Interns are expected to effectively communicate with all levels of the team and to ask questions that facilitate learning while respecting the professional demands and experience of their co-workers. The anticipated internship start date in Summer 2026. Interns will continue to work during the Fall and Spring semesters and will work with their supervisor to set a part time work schedule around their classes and other educational obligations. This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment.
