About The Position

This role involves interpreting blueprints and P&IDs to understand work requirements, necessary equipment, and tools. The Instrument Fitter I will work with piping systems to install instrumentation for proper system function, control, and monitoring. This includes using precision tools for calibration and adjustment of electrical and piping components, as well as the installation, manipulation, and fabrication of piping and tubing according to specifications. The position may also require assisting with other duties such as installing pipe, tubing, and related components.

Requirements

• Ability to read prints and P&IDs.
• Experience working with piping systems.
• Proficiency with precision tools for calibration and adjustment.
• Skills in installation, manipulation, and fabrication of piping and tubing.
• Ability to assist with pipe and tubing installation.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and P&IDs to interpret work to be completed, required equipment, and tools.
• Work with piping systems to install instrumentation for proper system function, control, and monitoring.
