Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Requirements

  • Proficient in conducting standard calibration procedures on various instruments.
  • Skilled in maintaining precise records and documentation following standard operating procedures.
  • Adheres to quality guidelines to ensure the accuracy and reliability of calibration processes.
  • Capable of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on calibration equipment.
  • Competent in collecting, recording, and analyzing calibration data effectively.
  • Communicates technical information clearly and effectively with team members.
  • Understands and follows regulatory and safety standards related to calibration activities.
  • Ensures precision and accuracy in all calibration tasks to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Efficiently manages time to complete routine calibration tasks within established deadlines.
  • Ability to calibrate and maintain a variety of instruments accurately.
  • Skilled in operating and using calibration tools and equipment.
  • Proficient in analyzing measurement data and identifying discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Instrument Calibration: Conduct calibration of laboratory instruments following established standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain Equipment: Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs on measurement equipment to uphold optimal functionality and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Document Calibration Data: Accurately record calibration results and maintain detailed logs to support quality assurance and traceability.
  • Adhere to Quality Standards: Follow quality guidelines and protocols to ensure all calibration activities meet industry and organizational standards.
  • Communicate Technical Information: Share basic technical information and updates with team members to facilitate effective collaboration and operational efficiency.
  • Perform Instrument Calibration: Execute calibration procedures for a variety of instruments following established protocols to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and extend instrument lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot Instrument Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems with instruments using analytical methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Document Calibration Results: Accurately record and report calibration data, maintenance activities, and any discrepancies in the tracking system.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate technical information and coordinate with team members to support overall team objectives and ensure quality standards.
