About The Position

The School of Social Work at Colorado State University is seeking applications throughout the year for individuals interested in obtaining temporary teaching positions. The School provides instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students. Historically, the School has focused on developing and maintaining a program that addresses the interests of the social work profession (as per the Council on Social Work Education’s Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards), human services agencies and clients across various geographical scales, and the land-grant mission and goals of Colorado State University.

Requirements

  • For an instructor-level appointment, a masters degree in an appropriate discipline is required.
  • For an assistant professor appointment, a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline is required.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of university-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Advise students, oversee practicums and internships, and teach in the School of Social Work programs.
  • Model teaching excellence in courses for SOWK by fully supporting the philosophy and culture of School of Social Work.
