About The Position
Western Kentucky University (WKU) is seeking qualified faculty to teach first-year Spanish courses. This is a part-time position with the potential to teach 2-3 sections per semester. Teaching assignments may include day or evening time slots, meeting two or three days a week, and will occur at the main campus in Bowling Green.
Requirements
- Master's degree with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Spanish.
- Evidence of excellent teaching ability.
- Effective use of technology in instruction.
- Native or near-native abilities in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Teach 2-3 sections of first-year Spanish.
- Utilize technology effectively in instruction.
- Commitment to beginning and intermediate instruction.
