About The Position

Instructor for Pacific Community Music School. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance.
  • One (1) year of teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years of documented teaching experience.
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction in the form of private and group lessons on the Stockton campus.
  • Teach theory/musicianship courses.
  • Maintain an active studio throughout the year.
