Salt Lake Community College seeks to attract a faculty of the highest caliber, skilled in the scholarship of teaching, discovery, application and integration of knowledge. The successful applicant will join a vital and innovative Exercise Science Department. The Exercise Science Department is home to an AS in Kinesiology, AS in Outdoor Adventure Parks and Recreation, AAS in Fitness Technician with additional certificate and credentialing opportunities. Our faculty are reflective practitioners, knowledgeable teachers in their respective fields, participate in professional communities, and collaborate with colleagues across the institution. Our department is dedicated to actively serve our students in successfully obtaining the skills and knowledge needed to be effective in their careers. Assigned teaching course load will be Nutrition Science. The faculty member will be assigned to teach at least one course at Herriman, Jordan, and other campuses as needed, and will be assigned alternative work schedules (e.g. evenings or weekends) with a variable teaching schedule.
