The Instructor will be responsible for planning and providing classroom curriculum and activities based on current objectives and preferences for individuals as assigned. This role involves providing training and support at Pace Solano job sites, performing job assignments as designated by the supervisor, and adhering to the daily schedule. A key part of the role is completing documentation accurately and within approved timelines, including health care plans, special incident reports, daily notes, datasheets, behavior calendars, vocational time sheets, Dailies, task analyses, money ledgers, and all transportation requirements. The Instructor will participate in person-centered program planning and assist with developing and implementing service plans and behavior plans for assigned individuals. Maintaining positive communication with program participants, home providers, supervisors, co-workers, referral agencies, and the community is essential. The role also requires displaying a professional and respectful attitude, attending mandatory trainings and staff meetings, and reporting suspected abuse in accordance with Mandated Reporter regulations. Physical requirements include the ability to lift/transfer/push/pull/bend/turn/pivot up to 38 lbs. occasionally and sustain a forward bend occasionally while assisting participants. Following agency policies and safety procedures is ongoing. Other related duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
