About The Position

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join their American Regional Training Department as an Instructor. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide a quality classroom product to students, including managers, agents, and supervisors from various stations, as well as vendor employees. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of one year of airline experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent communication skills. This position reports to the Manager, Training Resources.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of airline experience
  • Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
  • 10-year Criminal History Records Check
  • Drug screen as required
  • Proof of high school or GED completion
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of QIK, Sabre, and airport environment
  • Prior teaching experience in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • A MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION LETTER IS REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Provide a quality classroom product to students, including managers, agents, and supervisors from the stations, as well as vendor employees.
  • Teach core training including QIK Sabre, Net Tracer, Ramp – Eagle Ground Operations Manual (EGOM), Complaint Resolution Official (CRO), Jetbridge, and Transfer Assist.
