About The Position
The Instructor position involves the general medical and surgical care of breeding colony and research animals. This role also includes providing research support and training investigators, laboratory animal medicine residents, veterinary students, and technicians. The successful candidate will be part of a team of board-certified veterinarians and will have opportunities to engage in independent or collaborative research.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in one of the 50 states
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact positively with others with an orientation toward team science
- Intellectual curiosity
- Demonstrated initiative toward continuous improvement
