This position is for an Instructor of Work-Based Learning (WBL) at Luella High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves coordinating, administering, and monitoring all school-level WBL programs in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. The instructor will collaborate with various external organizations and internal staff to establish program sponsors and work sites, and to select and place students. Responsibilities include communicating with parents and counselors, managing student behavior, providing feedback on student work, assessing performance, maintaining records, assigning and grading work, and participating in meetings and conferences. The position requires the ability to be present at the physical worksite and perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
