Instructor Therapist/Behaviour Therapist Our clients are looking for ABA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Working with us, you would have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the community and have access to monthly team meetings and in-session supervision.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or providing ABA therapy.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI (current certification).
  • Smartphone with a data plan.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or currently enrolled in a University program related to Behavioural Science, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Driver's License G class with access to a vehicle.
  • Registered Behavioural Technician (RBT) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one intervention in the home or community.
  • Work with individuals of all ages, specifically in the children and youth population.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including other Spark team members or community professionals.
  • Complete paperwork, billing and other administrative demands with support from the administrative team.
  • Utilize management software, online booking systems, and digital charting.
