Instructor Teens - Teens Program/Leaders
About The Position
The YMCA of Greater Londonderry is seeking enthusiastic part-time Leaders for its middle school afterschool program at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School in Derry, New Hampshire. The role involves creating, implementing, and participating in activities, crafts, games, challenges, and team-building activities that engage students in grades 6–8. Leaders facilitate small-group activities, reinforce the YMCA’s four core character values—Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility—and help provide a safe environment for students. The scheduled shifts are 2:00–5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There may be opportunities to continue working through the summer and the following school year. Pay is $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. A background check is required.
Requirements

- Enjoy participating in activities and engaging with students.
Nice To Haves
- A preferred 2–5 years of experience working with youth and/or in customer service.
- Credits in Education, Sports Management, or Hospitality are preferred; students currently enrolled in college-level courses in these majors are also welcome.
