This role is for a dedicated instructor to bring the Policing and Corrections Foundation (PCF) program to life. The instructor will share practical insights, build student confidence, and help future professionals navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized Policing and Corrections Foundation program, or a related post-secondary program
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Corrections Officer
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth

  • Previous teaching or training experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and informative instruction to PCF students
  • Track and support student progress through regular feedback and evaluations
  • Maintain accurate records and attendance as per institutional policy
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and supervise student practice of techniques
  • Incorporate real-world examples and best practices from policing, corrections, and security fields.
