The UCF School of Social Work and the UCF Health Mobile Health Clinic in the College of Health Professions and Sciences are pleased to invite applications for a 12‑month, non‑tenure-earning, instructor or lecturer position. This position is located on the UCF main campus with an anticipated start date on or after May 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience providing clinical social work services across the lifespan; demonstrated knowledge and expertise in behavioral health assessment, intervention, and case management; and experience delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and community‑based care. A major component of this unique position will be supervision of social work students providing services through the UCF Mobile Health Clinic and the College of Health Professions and Sciences Rehabilitation and Wellness. The UCF Mobile Health Clinic is a program designed to serve vulnerable and medically under-served communities in Central Florida while providing rich clinical education experiences for students across the health professions. The Mobile Health Clinic operates from a 38‑ft commercial-grade vehicle with two exam rooms, one intake and lab space, and additional tents or tables for patient registration and educational activities. Services include primary care, preventive screening, behavioral health support, and chronic disease management. The primary service area is the greater Orlando region. We partner with community organizations to promote programs that respond to community needs. Event sites include schools, community centers, shopping centers, and places of worship. The School of Social Work is recognized regionally and nationally for the superior quality of its educational offerings and its contributions to clinical social work, health care, scholarship, and service to our community. The school has 34 full-time faculty, 14 staff, numerous adjunct faculty, and over 900 students. We offer a BSW, and an MSW program. There are campus based and online tracks in the MSW program. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other UCF healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health care within the UCF Mobile Health Clinic. In addition, the candidate will have opportunities to supervise graduate and undergraduate social work students completing clinical experiences and to provide classroom instruction for courses offered by the School of Social Work.
