The Nicholson School of Communication and Media (NSCM) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking an Instructor or Lecturer for its Film and Media Production and Management programs, starting August 2027. This is a 9-month, non-tenure earning, annually renewable position with a career path for promotion. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses, and potentially graduate courses, supporting the Film MFA program through critiques and thesis committees. Teaching may occur in various modalities, including face-to-face and online. Responsibilities include adhering to equitable workload policies, student advising (academic and career), and active participation in the school's academic life, such as faculty meetings, graduations, student assessments, and committee work. While there is no research expectation, research and scholarly activities may be supported. The university is particularly interested in candidates who can foster an inclusive and thriving academic community for diverse faculty, staff, and students.
