The MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a full-time Instructor or Assistant Professor faculty position in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). Applicants with a track record of excellence in pediatric and adult clinical work, clinical supervision, teaching and scholarship are encouraged to apply. This is a 12-month appointment beginning on September 1, 2026. This faculty position will supervise graduate students as they gain clinical experience working with clients in the Julie Atwood Speech, Language and Literacy Center (SLLC) in the IMPACT Practice Center during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The faculty member will provide mentorship and direct education in clinical assessment and intervention techniques primarily with pediatric clients but also with adults in the Marjorie Nicholas Aphasia Center. Supervision in community programs in the Boston area is part of this position. The faculty member will also participate in scholarship and service to the institution and the community. The MS-SLP program is part of an interprofessional team of highly ranked programs in the CSD department and the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. These include CSD programs in Audiology, SLPD and Language and Literacy and programs in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Genetic Counseling, as well as the research program in Rehabilitation Sciences (PhD).
